The First Lady Michelle Obama visited my university today! The energy was so electrifying and quite contagious—the morale went off the scales. She focused primarily on education, women and the importance of first-time voters and student voters. In the state of North Carolina, Barack Obama won by 14,000 votes—only 5 votes per precinct. She stressed that citizens should do everything we can to make sure that our neighbors have their voices hear. The First Lady was so lovely and personable. I’m glad I waited in the long line to get a chance see her and hear what she had to say!
